Enoch & Elijah Died too ! This will be important to decipher without a shadow of doubt who the two witnesses are ! Abraham saw Jesus on the Cross ! Let me show you all these using The Word of God !

Enoch died too !

Genesis 5:24 tells us that "Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." Hebrews 11:5 adds: "By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, 'and was not found, because God had taken him'; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

Some jump to the conclusion that Enoch was taken up into heaven, but notice the Bible doesn’t says this. It simply says that God "took him." It does not specify where he was taken.

Jesus Christ later states in the Gospel of John that "Scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:35). One of the points He makes is that one passage of the Bible cannot contradict another passage.

This same Gospel of John reveals a startling fact very appropriate to this matter: "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven" (John 3:13).

Clearly, Jesus Christ was the only human being who was or had ascended into heaven. The phrase "who is in heaven" lets us know that this was written by the apostle John after Christ's return to heaven or denotes Jesus being in heaven before He was made flesh because Jesus said in John 8:58, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” So even as late as this statement, no human being—and that includes Enoch—had ascended into heaven.

We later read about Enoch's fate in Hebrews 11:5: "By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, 'and was not found, because God had taken him'; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God." The word rendered "taken" can also mean "transferred elsewhere." And the New American Standard Bible says this was done "so that he would not see death" a better translation than "did not," but as we read from the same chapter of Hebrews, it is clear as day that Enoch died.

Notice in Hebrews 11:13 the summary given of all of the men and women of faith listed here, including Enoch: "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them *AFAR OFF* were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth" (Hebrews 11:13). So Enoch definitely died as well as all the rest.

Notice the word AFAR OFF .. is seen in few other places which relates to the same thing. Abraham was taken to THE place afar off (hamakhom), Elijah was taken to THE place, Moses was taken to THE place !! God showed Enoch, Elijah and Moses and Abraham his glory on the holy mountain of crucifixion !! Time travel !! And they ended up back on earth / their timeline to preach the good news and the Glory which they saw AFAR OFF! Let’s start with Abraham.

The vision of the future !

Did Abraham see Jesus' glorious day of the crucifixion ? YES !

Genesis 22: 1-2 1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine *only son* Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

The mountain we now know as the city, Jerusalem where He was crucified is Mount Moriah. Understand Abraham the Father is about to sacrifice Isaac the *only son* on top of Mount Moriah which is the same place where Jesus the only Son of God was offered up.

Genesis 22: 3-4 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

Isaac took wood and went up the mountain just like how Jesus carried his cross to the top of the hill . And (verse 4) on the third day Isaac got up and walked away on the third day just as Jesus rose from the pits of hell on the third day !!

Ecc 1:9 9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

God foretells what’s gonna happen in the future through the past stories Now, notice Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw THE PLACE AFAR OFF !! Let's do some word study, let's go back to the roots.

THE PLACE in hebrew is HAMAQOWM and in the rabbinical studies, HAMAQOWM is a title of God because God is in this place, God is in every place, God is omnipresent. That's why THE PLACE - HAMAQOWM is a title of God. GOD IS KNOWN AS THE PLACE !! Now, AFAR OFF in hebrew is RACHOQ which means a great distance, a distant future, a great while to come !!

maqowm - https://biblehub.com/hebrew/4725.htm

rachoq - https://biblehub.com/hebrew/7350.htm

Wait, What ! Abraham saw *GOD IN THE DISTANT FUTURE* ?! What ?! Now, take not of this;

Genesis 22: 5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Stay here with the donkey; and I and the boy will go there and worship, and *WE WILL COME BACK* to you. We know, Abraham knows that Isaac is going to be sacrificed but Abraham said **WE WILL COME BACK TO YOU** to his men !! Meaning Abraham knew he was going to return with Isaac !!

Genesis 22: 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

WHERE IS THE LAMB !? Pay attention..there's no mention of a lamb in the story before this until now and why is Isaac asking for a lamb now when they have already traveled a 3 days journey? And if they were going to offer a lamb, they would have brought the lamb through their 3 days journey !! So, what's the deal with the lamb ? Where's the lamb ? WATCH WHAT HE SAYS;

Genesis 22: 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

and then in the following verse;

Genesis 22: 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

Angel of the Lord came and stopped Abraham and provided a ram to be sacrificed. Abraham was a prophet, if he was a prophet he should know something. What did he know ? Notice, Abraham said to his men that WE WILL come back to you. And notice in verse 8 Abraham said, God will provide himself a lamb !! Abraham had the utmost trust in God and he did not withhold from offering up Isaac even though he knew God was going to provide !!

Another word study is required ! Provide - Yireh - יִרְאֶה־ - y’raah means to PROVIDE, to APPEAR, to become VISIBLE, to ENCOUNTER !!

PRAISE BE TO YAH, HALLELUYAH !!! God to appear to us in the future !!! When Abraham said, he will provide himself a lamb, meaning God is saying through Abraham the prophet that he is going to appear himself as the sacrifice. So I won't be wrong to say that, Abraham said in verse 8; MY SON, DON'T WORRY !! GOD HIMSELF WILL BECOME THE LAMB !! For your information, another title of God is YAHAVAH YIREH meaning God Provides !! When Abraham lifted up his eyes, he saw something that is not apparent to our eyes in the bible !

Let's recap.

Genesis 22: 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw THE PLACE, AFAR OFF.

Or paraphrased with the Hebraic meaning (we discussed previously) **Then on the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw GOD IN THE DISTANT FUTURE** !! When he gets on the mountain, he is enacting the crucifixion of the Messiah thousands of years before it was going happen at the same place where YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH (Jesus the Messiah) is to be crucified !! And if this is not enough prove for you, read verse 14 where Moses, the author of the book said;

Genesis 22: 14 And Abraham called the name of THAT PLACE Jehovah Jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. !!! IN THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD, IT SHALL BE SEEN !!! When Abraham lifted up his eyes, he saw a lamb, not just a lamb, he saw a person and he knew the lamb was sent by God himself !! The lamb was God himself !! If you don't believe it, you don't know what Jesus said !!

John 8:56-58

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

ABRAHAM SAW THE DAY OF THE LORD AND REJOICED !! ABRAHAM SAW THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICIAL LAMB ON THE MOUNT OF GOD ERECTED ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY !! THAT'S WHY, JOHN INTRODUCES JESUS AS THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD IN HIS GOSPEL !! GLORY BE TO YAHSHUA OUR SALVATION !!! BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS, HE WAS, HE IS AND HE IS TO COME !!!

AMEYN !

Statement: Elijah too died just like (Enoch - check my previous post) !

2Kings 2:11 As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.

We only know that Elijah was removed from the earth. The bible says Elijah was taken “to Heaven” but the Hebrew word for heaven used in this passage is ha-shamayim, which can take one of three distinct meanings: the sky or God’s throne room.

https://biblehub.com/text/2_kings/2-11.htm

https://biblehub.com/hebrew/hashshamayim_8064.htm

We know the writer described Elijah’s departure from his perspective on the ground, so the writer could only say that Elijah was taken into the shamayim (the sky). Nothing more can be assumed about Elijah’s final destination with this verse. In the next topic I will use the bible to explain where Elijah went and for what purpose. Let’s focus on the issue that Elijah died first.

The scripture says that definitively no man had entered into Heaven before Christ.

John 3:13 “No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.

Through this verse, we know Elijah did not enter the throne room of God but he was taken up to the sky.

Our Almighty Father surely would not permit sinful men (like Enoch or Elijah, man with original sin defilement) to enter His presence in bodily form before Christ’s death and resurrection, then the Father would have had no need for Jesus Christ to die on the cross! If the Father possessed another way to resurrect sinful men before Christ’s resurrection, then He would have had no reason to sacrifice His Son to make resurrection possible. There was a need to die because the penalty of sin is death. There was a need to resurrect because Jesus wanted us to rise with Him. Clearly, Christ’s death and resurrection were the only way to reconcile men to the Father, which negates any possibility that Enoch or Elijah could be resurrected before Christ’s death and resurrection.

Therefore, we must conclude that while the Lord did not permit Enoch to avoid death, and surely He could not bring him into His presence in bodily form. Based on other scriptures, so called scholars assume Enoch’s soul was transferred to Abraham’s Bosom to await the arrival of Messiah just like all Old Testament saints. God granted Enoch a remarkable experience to witness the place afar off and behold the Glory of God, just as He did with the other boys, but He couldn't grant him entry into Heaven before Christ’s sacrifice. Scripture specifically states this was not possible, and therefore it did not happen (John 3:13). Same goes to Moses, where archangel Mika-El fought with Satan for Moses’ body and God himself buried his body for the future for which we will discuss in the upcoming topics. Just as for Enoch, we can be sure that the soul of Moses too was sent to Sheoul or the bosom or what Jesus refers to as paradise when he spoke to the thief hanging beside Him because Jesus told the thief you will be in paradise with me today and Jesus descended to hell to bring the good news for three days and three nights before rising ! Let’s not get distracted, let’s focus on what happened to Elijah after his remarkable flight ! (again about where he went and for what purpose will be discussed in the upcoming topics)

The bible specifies that the departure of Elijah was during the reign of King Ahaziah or perhaps that of his successor, Jehoshaphat because 2 Kings recorded the departure of Elijah in chapter 2, between the account of King Ahaziah’s death in 2 Kings 1 and the reign of Jehoshaphat in 2 Kings 3. And in chapter 3, Jehoshaphat calls for a prophet, but he is told that only Elisha was present, Elisha is the prophet who succeeded Elijah.

Since Elijah is absent in 1 Kings 3, we can conclude that the events of 2 Kings 1-3 are presented chronologically. And in 2 Chronicles 21, we read this:

2Chr. 21:4  Now when Jehoram had taken over the kingdom of his father and made himself secure, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and some of the rulers of Israel also.

2Chr. 21:12  Then a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet saying, “Thus says the Lord God of your father David, ‘Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father and the ways of Asa king of Judah,

2Chr. 21:13 but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot as the house of Ahab played the harlot, and you have also killed your brothers, your own family, who were better than you,

2Chr. 21:14 behold, the Lord is going to strike your people, your sons, your wives and all your possessions with a great calamity;

Notice that Elijah sent a letter to Jehoram, who is the son of Jehoshaphat of Judah. If Elijah sent a letter to Jehoshaphat’s successor, Jehoram, then it appears Elijah was alive even after Jehoshaphat’s reign ! Clearly, 2 Kings 2-3 imply Elijah was removed before Jehoshaphat’s reign, and 2 Chronicles 21 explicitly tells us that Elijah was still alive even after Jehoshaphat had died and his successor, Jehoram, was ruling.

As the bible teaches, we can confidently conclude that Elijah was still alive during Jehoram’s reign. In 2 Kings 3, Jehoshaphat called for a prophet, but only Elisha was present and ministering at this time. Apparently, Elijah was living elsewhere. The text in 2 Kings 3 doesn’t say Elijah was dead but only that he wasn’t present. Elijah had previously given his mantle as a prophet of Judah to Elisha, so Elisha was operating as a prophet for many years while Elijah still lived elsewhere. Elijah's absence in Judah explained his need to compose a letter to communicate with King Jehoram rather than appearing before him.

In conclusion, Elijah was taken up to the sky, he was brought to a place for a purpose (we shall discuss soon) and sent back elsewhere where he lived and still helped out as a prophet by writing letters and died, and we can assume just like Moses, his body to was preserved. Actually no need for assumptions. I’m sure his body was preserved and you will know why too when I use the bible to explain in the next topic. Too long so I am breaking it down into parts !

Ameyn ! In the name of Yahshua !
